During the worldwide Computer Science Education Week, the ACM Student Chapter organised an event hub for the Hour of Code to introduce children of all ages to programming. Introducing various levels of Scratch and HTML the kids had fun to overcome logic challenges and creating their own website.
For the Megadojo, an all-out synced event of CoderDojos around Ireland, 400+ children participated at the event at DkIT. Introducing the kids to different technologies and programming, the ACM Student Chapter helped mentor in different areas like Python, Java Greenfoot, Scratch, Vex Robotics and more.
