‘Tomb of the Mad God’ win Best Overall Completed Game
DkIT’s second Game Jam took place on the 30th October in the School of Informatics and Creative Arts. 30+ students attend the event where teams of 5-6 battled it out to create the most innovative and fun game. Many teams made use of DkIT’s Virtual Reality equipment to create some shocking and horrifying Halloween Games! DkIT’s Michael Connolly and Colin Guilfoyle of Nebula Innovations teamed up with four students to host and organise the event. A panel of judges, including past students and four lecturers, deliberated over the games to decide on the winners. There were two categories up for grabs – ‘Best Overall Completed Game’ and ‘Most Fun Game’.
